Best Best Places: 2025 World’s 25 Best Travel Destinations List
Recently, the American “National Geographic” magazine announced its list of the world’s best travel destinations for 2025. The 25 travel destinations are divided into five categories: culture, adventure, nature, community, and family, each being a desirable place. The only destination from China to make the list is the Longmen Grottoes in Henan.
I. Culture
1. Via Appia, Italy
Via Appia, initially built in 312 BC and completed in 190 BC, stretches 370 kilometers in total. It was constructed under the direction of the Roman consul Appius Claudius Caecus and served as an ancient road connecting Rome with the southeastern Italian port of Brindisi.
