The park spans across Mediterranean climate and alpine mountain climate regions, with its main vegetation being subtropical coniferous forests. In 1984, it was listed as a World Natural Heritage by UNESCO, and in 2006, it established a friendly park relationship with China’s Anhui Huangshan Scenic Area.

Grand Canyon National Park is located on the Kaibab Plateau in northern Arizona, United States. It was established in 1919 and covers an area of 1904 square miles. In 1979, it was designated as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO, with an area of 2724.7 square kilometers.
As part of the Colorado Grand Canyon, the Grand Canyon Park runs east-west with a total length of 350 kilometers. The width of the canyon’s top ranges from 6 kilometers to 30 kilometers, while the narrowest point at the bottom is only 120 meters, with the Colorado River flowing through it. In 2007, China’s Henan Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area and the Grand Canyon National Park became sister parks, and renewed the agreement in 2017.

Glacier National Park is located in northern Montana, United States, bordering Canada, and is a habitat for species unique to North America. The park covers 410,000 hectares and was once an Indian reservation for the Blackfeet Tribe.
The park became a national park in 1910 and is famous for more than 50 glaciers. Blackfoot Glacier is the largest among them, covering approximately 4.8 square kilometers, located on the north slope of Mount Jackson and Blackfoot Mountain at an altitude of 2,440 meters.

Yellowstone National Park, commonly known as Yellowstone Park, is the first national park managed by the U.S. National Park Service. Since its establishment on March 1, 1872, the park was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1978.
Yellowstone National Park covers an area of approximately 898,317 hectares, mainly located in Wyoming, with parts extending into Montana and Idaho. The park is divided into five regions, including the Mammoth Hot Springs area, Roosevelt area, Canyon area, Lake area, and Geyser area, and features a museum of historical monuments.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park, also known as the Great Smoky Mountains, is located at the border of Tennessee and North Carolina in the United States. In 1983, it was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The park covers an area of 200,000 hectares and has more than 3,500 species of plants, of which about 130 are tree species, which is comparable to the number of tree species in all of Europe. The park is also home to many endangered animals. Because it has not been significantly damaged by humans, the original growth state of temperate plants can be observed.
