places to vacation in the us: Jacksonville, USA
Leaving Orlando, we traveled north along Highway 95 to Jacksonville to visit an old classmate. Under our classmate’s guidance, we were pleasantly surprised to learn about aspects of Jacksonville we had never heard of before. The city was first established in 1822 and named in honor of President Andrew Jackson. In its early years, the city’s development was slow due to wars, and it was destroyed by a great fire in 1901. After being rebuilt, the city developed rapidly and has now become a major seaport and industrial and commercial center on the southeastern coast of the United States, with a particularly developed insurance industry. It is the largest city in Florida.
The St. Johns River flows through the city and empties into the Atlantic Ocean here. The Port of Jacksonville is Florida’s largest container port, and the beautiful St. Johns River is captivating.

There are many luxury houses along the river, elegant and peaceful, pleasing to the eye.

I think many people have heard of the Mayo Clinic in the United States. Before, I only knew that the Mayo Clinic was in Minnesota. It was from a classmate that I learned the Mayo Clinic has three major campuses, and the third campus is located in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our travels.

With its thunderous wooden roller coaster, the thrill you get when riding it is incredible. At night, with all 500,000 lights turned on, the fireworks show accompanied by music is like something out of Broadway. The giant cinnamon rolls are only five dollars, stuffed with filling, and bigger than your face when you pick them up. For those with a sweet tooth, it’s like being brought back to life on the spot. One bite and all your troubles disappear. At Disney’s Magic Kingdom, with its castles, fireworks, and fairy tale world, tens of thousands of people crowd into the park every day. Watching the fireworks in front of Cinderella Castle, with the stars twinkling, it’s no wonder dreams feel bigger. Seasoned visitors all know to go in the opposite direction at 3 PM. While others are watching the parade, they rush to the mine cart ride and can ride it three times in a row. Having dinner with Princess Belle creates such a fairy…

When traveling, 13 things to remember in your travel blog 1. You’re easy to spot People in other countries have certain mannerisms, body language and styles, which you don’t.
